Next week, duct bank construction will continue at the following locations in Beverly:

- —At the intersection with Hale Street
- —Between Hale Street and Bisson Street
- —Between East Street and Lawrence Street
- —Between Corning Street and Ray Street
- —Between Parramatta Road and Cross Street
- -Cross Lane
- —Between Spruce Run and Boyles Street
- -Within National Grid’s property on River Street
Work hours in Beverly and Salem are from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM Monday through Friday except where otherwise noted. Please let us know about any upcoming deliveries or special events that we can prepare to assist you with.
Next week, in advance of cable installation, preparatory work will take place inside the installed manholes on Broadway and in Monument Square. This work does not require any excavation. Traffic may be diverted around the manholes during working hours.
During the work under the Essex Bridge, the right-hand northbound lane will be closed between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM, Monday through Saturday. The sidewalk will remain open; crew members will be posted to help conduct pedestrians past the work zone.
On upcoming Saturdays, project-related electrical work will take place within National Grid’s property on River Street in Beverly between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM.
At times, work vehicles may need to stage outside of active worksites for traffic management purposes.
Please note that parking may be limited and/or through-traffic may be detoured on the following streets in Beverly: Hale, East Lothrop, Cross Lane, Parramatta Road, Monument Square and Broadway. Residents will always be able to access their homes and driveways with assistance from police details, crew members, and traffic signage.
At times construction equipment generates noise that will be noticeable to abutters. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we perform these critical infrastructure upgrades.
