The Beverly Regional Transmission Reliability Project’s completed transmission line is in the process of energization. No project work is planned in public areas for next week.
Starting in mid-to-late May, crews will begin removing sections of the original 1971 transmission cable located under Congress Street, Wellman Street, Webber Avenue, River Street, and McPherson Drive in Beverly. Residents and businesses in these areas will be notified ahead of work beginning, and more detailed scheduling and process information will be shared in this newsletter.
